Howard adds primary care practice to South Cambs campus

Howard Group has signed Granta Medical Practices to Langford Arch in Sawston, South Cambridgeshire, which sits adjacent to its science and technology hub, Unity Campus. The primary care provider has agreed a five-year lease for 5,767 sq ft of workspace. The Granta Medical Practices deal follows the award of a new NHSE contract. The practice will establish a centre for coordinating and screening emergency service calls. The space will also accommodate central staff relocating from Sawston, freeing up further space for primary care services. Fred Murphy, asset manager at Howard Group, said: “[Langford Arch] offers the location for Granta Medical Practices to continue delivering healthcare services, and we look forward to seeing them thrive as part of our people-centred, science-focused environment.” Tim Harrison, chief executive at Granta Medical Practices, said: “In the modern world of primary care, we cannot be constrained by our existing physical estate. Unity Campus is an exciting development and is ideal for this next step for a growing local business.”
