Housebuilder homes in on Leeds South Central office
Housebuilder Keepmoat has become the latest occupier to take workspace at the South Central building in Leeds.
The firm has agreed a 10-year deal with landlord Shelborn Asset Management to let 6,682 sq ft of office space following a comprehensive refurbishment of the site. Rent at the building is £23.50 per sq ft.
South Central, measuring 75,300 sq ft, on Global Avenue has recently undergone a renovation programme focusing on improving amenities and sustainability.

New facilities for occupiers include a gym, shower facilities, a business lounge and outdoor meeting space.
The latest letting is the third deal to complete following the restoration works, with tenants Aon and Inseego already in occupation.
Interim regional managing director at Keepmoat Yorkshire West Chris Clingo said: “The new space for the team has greater commuter links and amenities nearby, plus it further fuels Keepmoat’s commitment to employees by providing them with a high-end place of work where they can thrive.”
CBRE, alongside joint agents Knight Frank, secured the letting on behalf of Shelborn Asset Management.
CBRE senior director Alex Hailey said: “This refurbished office space is appealing to occupiers seeking accommodation that attracts and retains the best talent.
“It’s in a location on a spacious, leafy green site and has transport links, as well as the amenities of the nearby White Rose Shopping Centre.”
