House prices in North and Midlands boosted by ‘race for space’

The pandemic has given the property market in the North and Midlands a boost as a “race for space” makes the regions more desirable.

The top 20 places for price growth include four from the North West (Rochdale, Widnes, Bolton and the Wirral), three from Yorkshire and the Humber (Bradford, Scunthorpe and Doncaster) and two from Scotland (Motherwell and Hamilton).
