She has joined from Homes For Students, where she was a commercial director. Prior to that, Williams was the marketing and UK commercial director for student accommodation, co-living and BTR at CRM Students.
In her new role, Williams will spearhead Host’s commercial strategy, unlocking new third-party management opportunities and enhancing service delivery for investors, clients and residents.
Host managing director John Nesbitt said: “Securing someone of Rebecca’s calibre sends a strong message to the market about Host’s growth ambitions and our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional third-party management services. Rebecca’s unmatched expertise and client-first approach give us a distinct edge. We look forward to building new partnerships and driving greater value for our clients.”
Williams’ appointment complements a series of senior hires over the past 24 months, including Sam Hollex (formerly at Nido) as director of operations, Chris Mcilhinney (formerly at CA Ventures/Novel Student) as commercial director and Darren Prosser (formerly at Student Roost) as head of IT.
Williams said: “I’m delighted to be joining Host at such an exciting time in its growth journey. As one of the first PBSA third-party operators, Host brings a wealth of experience and longevity to the sector. The recent launch of the Habito Co-living brand demonstrates the company’s desire to evolve and expand its operational capability within the living sector.
“I look forward to working with the team to build on their strong foundation, expanding the portfolio and continuing to build lasting partnerships through exceptional service delivery and asset performance, in both PBSA and co-living.”
