Hill Samuel pays £3.05m for retail units in Motherwell, Scotland

Hill Samuel Property Unit Trust has paid Wimpey Developments £3.05m for the long leasehold of five retail units in Motherwell, Scotland. The deal reflects an equivalent yield of 8.75%.

The properties in Brandon Parade South generate £274,000 pa, before 10% gearing. Tenants include New Look and Thorn High Street Properties.

Grimley and Hill Samuel Asset Management acted for the HSPUT, while Smith Cole Wright advised Wimpey.
