Henry Boot sells more plots at Coventry site

Henry Boot’s Hallam Land subsidiary has completed the sale of 632 residential plots at Pickford Gate in Coventry to Vistry Group. Hallam secured an initial planning promotion agreement with the landowners to promote the wider site in 2015, after which planning permission was secured for a 52-acre employment land parcel, as well as 2,400 homes, a primary school, and district and local centres. Previous sales by Hallam at the site include the disposal of 250 plots to Countryside Partnerships in 2023 and 491 plots to David Wilson Homes in 2024. Hallam retains 1,027 plots for future sale. Henry Boot chief executive Tim Roberts said: “This sale to Vistry is a significant transaction for Hallam, executing the phased sale of the wider Pickford Gate site according to plan, which will create thousands of much needed new homes in the area. It also highlights the continued demand for prime sites from leading national housebuilders.” Newton LDP and Shoosmiths advised Hallam.
