Heaton secures £45m loan for Salford luxury resi block
Heaton Group has gained a £45.1m development finance package from Maslow Capital for its 250-home luxury residential block in Salford, Greater Manchester.
The family-run development company is planning to develop a mix of one, two and three-bedroom flats at the project, called Berkeley Square.

The family-run development company is planning to develop a mix of one, two and three-bedroom flats at the project, called Berkeley Square.
Heaton Group said it is aiming to address the city’s growing housing demand. It sits within a wider development totalling 500 homes, to be executed in two phases.
Flats will be situated around a large, landscaped central square. The development will feature rooftop gardens, co-working spaces, an on-site café and concierge services.
The development is targeting an EPC B rating of and will incorporate solar panels on the roof, recycled aggregates within the construction and low or zero-carbon technologies.
Additionally, the project will include 568 bike parking spaces and electric vehicle charging points. Completion is expected in 2026.
