Harvey Nichols building for sale

Hong Kong entrepeneur Dickson Poon is planning to sell the freehold of his Harvey Nichols department store in Knightsbridge for up to £75m. Insiginia Richard Ellis has been instructed to act on behalf of Poon.

The store occupies a 0.287 ha site. The building has a 35-year lease from March 1996 and pays £3.27m a year in rent. Middle Eastern buyers are tipped as most likely to invest in the store.
