Gym Group has said it is on target to open 40 new venues by the end of next year, despite the rise of the omicron Covid variant.
The nationwide operator currently has 198 no-contract gyms, having added 15 sites over the past six months.
Chief executive Richard Darwin said: “The recovery in our membership following the reopening demonstrates the essential role gyms play in people’s lives. The market opportunity and growth potential for the Gym Group is very exciting.”
