GVA has created a dedicated land and development division in Yorkshire in a bid to capitalise on government plans to accelerate housebuilding on behalf of its land holding public and private sector clients.
The new division is led by GVA’s residential land expert, director Dai Powell, who moves from the planning, development and regeneration team to take on the role.
The team will focus on residential land agency, feasibility and consultancy to help their clients gain maximum value and returns from their land holdings. The launch comes as the government commits to releasing hundreds of acres of public sector land on which to site new homes and boost local economic growth.
GVA said it believes that its position on several key framework contracts will be key in helping to facilitate this.
