Guinness raises a glass after planning for 326 homes is approved

The Guinness Partnership has received planning permission from Newham Council’s Planning Committee for 326 affordable homes at Silvertown in the Royal Docks.

Work on the construction of a six-storey building that will contain 106 affordable homes on the site is already well under way and Silvertown’s first residents to arrive at the end of the year, continuing to prioritise the delivery of affordable houses.

The regeneration of Silvertown is among London’s largest urban redevelopment projects and will transform a 60-acre docklands site that has been largely vacant for 40 years. The project will deliver around 6,500 new homes, including a substantial proportion of affordable housing.
