Grenfell Tower inquiry terms published

The terms of reference for the inquiry into the Grenfell Tower tragedy have been set by the judge leading it, Sir Martin Moore-Bick.

In a letter to prime minister Theresa May, he said it would deal with the physical aspects of the fire but it would not include a general review of social housing policy that campaigners had been calling for.

Under option C, the inquiry will include a review of the scope of adequacy of building regulations and other legislation related to the design of high-rise buildings.
