The 260,000 sq ft development is close to the Abbey Wood Crossrail station, which is due to open in 2018, and comprises another 10-storey residential tower and a 90-bedroom hotel.
U+I sold the former industrial site to HUB in December 2015. The deal marked the final sale of the £85m development at Cross Quarter.
Subject to planning approval, work is scheduled to start on site in summer 2017.
Barton Willmore is advising on planning.
