Westminster Council has approved Prudential subsidiary The Prudential Assurance Company’s plans to redevelop Wells House, W1.
Designed by Orms Architects, the replacement for the current 1960s seven-storey office block at 134-140 Oxford Street and 77-84 Wells Street will provide 40% more floorspace, and cover 155,474 sq ft.
The scheme will rise up to 10 storeys, retain the nightclub in the basement, and feature terraces on the upper levels.
