Green light for next phase of Oxfordshire science hub
A new office development at a major science hub in Oxfordshire has been given the go-ahead.
Harwell Science and Innovation Campus has received planning permission for Quad Two, which will comprise 47,000 sq ft of new office space for science and technology companies.
The offices will be designed with flexibility in mind, so that three of the four floors can be let to single or multiple occupiers. Work is due to start on the building early next year and is expected to complete in 2022.

Quad Two is the third in a series of developments alongside Harwell’s Becquerel Avenue, close to the headquarters of technology companies including Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Agilent and Oxford Space Systems.
Angus Horner, Harwell campus director, said: “This new building will enable companies looking for a competitive, multi-cluster, collaborative advantage to be located alongside some of the brightest minds in the country, delivering world leading research and life changing technologies.”
