Genisis Housing Group has appointed a design team for its 500-home £95m regeneration scheme in Grahame Park, Barnet, north London. A team comprising Jestico + Whiles, Rivington Street Studio and Peter Barber Architects have been appointed from a shortlist of five. The scheme also includes a new library, park, community centre and shops. Anne Dufton, chief executive of Choices for Grahame Park, part of Genesis, said: “CfGP is again bringing excellent architects into Colindale. Our expectations and those of the Grahame Park residents have been raised by this enthralling competition process.” The design team will now begin drawing up the design proposals. Construction is set to begin on site in 2010. helen.roxburgh@egi.co.uk
