Gene therapy firm expands in Canary Wharf life sciences cluster

Gene therapy company AviadoBio has grown its presence at Canary Wharf Group’s 20 Water Street, E14, by renting 11,000 sq ft on the sixth floor.
Last year, the firm took a unit Kadans Science Partner’s London Innovation Centre, located on the third and fourth floors of the building.
The expansion will allow AviadoBio to bring its 60-strong team together under one roof, while providing enough space to continue to grow.
The deal expands the growing life sciences cluster being developed at Canary Wharf by CWG and Kadans.
Kadans’ 40,000 sq ft London Innovation Centre, launched in June last year, features flexible wet labs, with spaces ranging from 250 sq ft to more than 2,000 sq ft. Tenants also have the option of renting a bench in a shared lab or taking their own private space.
