Galliford Try Investments selected for £55m Birmingham BTR scheme
Midlands developer Taylor Grange has picked Galliford Try Investments as its preferred development partner for its £55m build-to-rent scheme at Lancaster Wharf in Birmingham.
The 280-apartment project is located on Princip Street in the Gun Quarter.
The development is currently pending planning approval, with practical completion anticipated in time for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Sam Ginda, chief operating officer of Taylor Grange, said: “Having worked together on the scheme for the past months with our respective teams, it was apparent that Galliford Try is best placed to deliver on value, quality, design and financial robustness.”
Phil Harris, director at Galliford Try Investments, added: “We are looking forward to securing a planning consent for the Lancaster Wharf site, which we hope to be the first of many in partnership with Taylor Grange, helping the city meet its growing housing needs.”
Taylor Grange has a delivery pipeline of 3,000 homes in Birmingham, including for-sale and rental homes across several developments. Knight Frank advised on the deal.
