Former high school site in Edinburgh to become PBSA scheme

S1 Developments has received planning permission from a Scottish government reporter to convert Edinburgh’s former Tynecastle High School site into a 468-bed PBSA development.

The former school will be repurposed to include a central amenity hub, sitting within a courtyard space, to provide shared facilities for student residents.

The approved proposal also includes 40% green space, cycle parking, the employment of low carbon technologies and no use of fossil fuels.
