Fore signs street food market for TBC.London

Street food market operator Blend Family has secured a lease with developer Fore Partnership and KKR to open its first London food hall at TBC.London.

The food hall operator has signed up for a 16,000 sq ft space on the ground floor of TBC.London, SE1, where it will host 13 food vendors offering a mix of global street food.

TBC.London is a 110,000 sq ft office developed by Fore, with KKR holding a majority stake. The developers recently announced their first occupiers as FTSE 100 tech company Sage and Allfunds. The building is set to complete later this year.

Blend Family already runs three food halls in the UK: Cambridge Street Collective; Sheffield’s Cutlery Works; and Kargo MKT in Manchester.

TBC.London will also include a 3,500 sq ft flexible ground-floor space for community groups, schools and social enterprises.

Matt Bigland, chief executive officer of Blend Family, said: “Our food halls offer guests a trip around the globe one dish at a time. In each of our spaces, we create a diverse and vibrant community hub.”

Basil Demeroutis, managing partner at Fore, said: “We love Blend Family’s focus on social responsibility and community, which is highly aligned with the vision and values of TBC.London. The new food hall will be a fantastic space for visitors from the surrounding community and the building’s occupiers.”

Bruce Gillingham Pollard and Jamieson Mills advised Fore on the letting to Blend Family; CBRE and RX London are the office leasing agents for TBC.London.
