Fora commits to net zero carbon emissions by 2030
Flexible working company Fora has said it will operate on a net zero carbon emissions basis by 2030, and will use 100% renewable energy by that point.
The company, which counts the British Fashion Council and AMC Networks International among its workspace users, said emissions would be offset by a programme which meets carbon offsetting’s ‘Gold Standard’ certification.
This would also include clean air inside its buildings and zero waste going to landfill.

Fora has 17 locations combining around 700,000 sq ft of workspace – including in London’s Soho, Spitalfields and Borough.
Earlier this week, it announced that it would open a new space in Oxford, offering 63,000 sq ft of office space.
Fora co-founder Katrina Larkin said: “We understand climate change is the single biggest problem the world has faced.
“We all have it within our power to protect and restore our world, so we at Fora are taking responsibility. Our commitment to achieving net zero carbon represents a real turning point for us and our industry.
“We want our residents to feel proud to be in a workspace that is helping to end the climate crisis, and our resident companies will also cut their own indirect carbon emissions simply by using Fora workspaces.”
