For-sale sign hoisted above £97m Montreaux scheme 

A build-to-rent scheme with a £97m GDV in Barnet, north London, has been put on the market with a price tag of more than £20m. Vandermolen Real Estate has been appointed to sell the site, at 231 Colney Hatch Lane. Developer Montreaux previously received planning permission to redevelop the site into a 204-flat BTR scheme. Consented proposals for the development include a Lidl food store on a 99-year lease with 65 car-parking spaces, as well as an underground car park with 93 spaces. Montreaux bought the site, which measures 2.6 acres, in 2019 with financial backing from ASK Real Estate and OakNorth. The site currently comprises a former car dealership, as well as a large car park.
