Flexible office firm Clockwise opens first London site
Flexible working company Clockwise has opened its first site in London, as the firm looks to cash in on an expected increase in demand for offices closer to home.
Clockwise’s debut in the capital will offer 664 desks across 32,000 sq ft in Wood Green, N22, and follows the opening of spaces in Leeds, Cheltenham and Cardiff.
It comes as flexible workplace providers gear up for what could be a bumper period after the UK exits lockdown, with companies widely expected to allow their employees to adopt a hybrid approach to working outside the office.

Clockwise has already seen an uptick in the take-up of its sites elsewhere in the country, and said many businesses had made enquiries for spaces as part of plans to adapt from centralised inner London offices to a more regional model.
The company plans to open six more offices this year, which will double its portfolio to more than 500,000 sq ft.
Chief operating officer Alexandra Brunner said the new location, designed by architects Hawkins\Brown, was “a key milestone” for Clockwise.
“There’s no question that the nature of work has changed irrevocably as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, and much of the conversation has centred on what the future of the office is.
“While businesses have learned that teams can work well from home, at Clockwise we are firm believers that a central space is key to fostering collaboration and boosting productivity and supporting the health and wellbeing of employees.”
