Flex operator Uncommon names new chief executive
Flexible office group Uncommon has named a new chief executive, promoting a partner in the company to take the top post.
Chris Davies will become the company’s next chief executive. He has worked at Uncommon since 2015 and was involved in raising more than £250m for the business from investors including the Carlyle Group and Blackstone.
Tania Adir, who founded Uncommon in 2014 with husband Gal, said stepping back from the chief executive role will let her “fully focus on the growth in the flexible office sector both in the UK and globally” as well as allowing the company to continue a commitment to “growing and upskilling of our existing talent”.

Davies will work alongside finance director Magda Maria Jedrychowska-Stein and operations director Devrim Kahramanoglu to lead the day-to-day running of the business.
Davies said: “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to lead Uncommon. My focus will be to seize the significant opportunities for growth that are in the sector, as we emerge from Covid-19. My priorities will be to ensure that Uncommon becomes the clear market leader in the areas of customer experience, sustainability, technology and diversity.”
Uncommon operates five offices across London, in Highbury & Islington, Borough, Fulham, Holborn and the Square Mile.
