Flex operator Uncommon names new chief executive

Flexible office group Uncommon has named a new chief executive, promoting a partner in the company to take the top post.

Chris Davies will become the company’s next chief executive. He has worked at Uncommon since 2015 and was involved in raising more than £250m for the business from investors including the Carlyle Group and Blackstone.

Tania Adir, who founded Uncommon in 2014 with husband Gal, said stepping back from the chief executive role will let her “fully focus on the growth in the flexible office sector both in the UK and globally” as well as allowing the company to continue a commitment to “growing and upskilling of our existing talent”.
