FHP retains top spot in Nottingham

FHP Property Consultants has topped the Radius Data Exchange Nottingham office disposals league table for the seventh year running, towering above the competition with 452,186 sq ft of space transacted over 51 deals. Along with Knight Frank, FHP acted on the standout deal of the year: a 278,000 sq ft prelet to HM Revenue & Customs at Peveril Securities and Sladen Estates’ Unity Square development (pictured). JLL acted for the tenant. This deal alone propelled new entrant Knight Frank into second place. Other notable deals include a 28,885 sq ft letting at 1 Royal Standard place to the University of Law, where FHP and JLL acted as joint agents, and 26,775 sq ft of space at Beeston Business Park to GoDaddy, acted on by FHP and Innes England. Aided by the Unity Square deal, total disposed space increased by 69% year-on-year, to 680,949 sq ft, representing an upturn in fortunes for the Nottingham market, which in recent years has struggled due to the lack of quality supply.
