The redevelopment of Bromley-by-Bow Industrial Park, E3, is expected to be given the green light by Tower Hamlets Council at next week’s planning committee meeting.
Planning officers have backed London-based investor and developer Fabrix’s plans to deliver flexible workspaces on a 4.7-acre site at Empson Street. The scheme comprises a new-build central block of industrial facilities arranged in two linear terraces along a central yard, a site management pavilion, a repurposed brick MOT warehouse building designated for use as an affordable workspace and a circular economy hub.
Overall, the industrial park will span 136,045 sq ft, across 10 industrial blocks varying in size between 6,500 sq ft and 19,375 sq ft. Each facility will have its own demised loading area accessed from the yard, with operational parking. There will also be shared loading bays for occasional HGV deliveries at each end of the yard.
