Evergrande puts Hong Kong HQ on the market

Evergrande, the world’s most indebted property developer, has put its Hong Kong HQ on the market with a price tag of HK$9bn (£940m).

The group has hired Cushman & Wakefield as the sole agent to sell the 345,000 sq ft office building following a failed sale last year.

The company purchased the 26-storey tower in Wan Chai on Hong Kong island for more than HK$12.5bn, equivalent to $1.6bn, in 2015.
