The Eurotunnel board has backed directors past and present who are under investigation by a French magistrate over allegations relating to insider dealing and publishing false accounts and misuse of company assets.
The directors concerned have rejected the allegations and Eurotunnel lawyers have sent a detailed response to France.
Analysts say the investigation is unlikely to have any impact on the company’s performance.
