Investment manager Europa Capital has hired Gwendal Kalkofen, from Tristan Capital Partners, as its first head of real estate finance.
Kalkofen will source, execute and manage debt financing for Europa Capital’s real estate investments in Europe, working with traditional and non-bank institutions. He will work in the firm’s London office and report to chief financial officer Kevin D’Arcy.
With 15 years in the real estate sector, Kalkofen was most recently a managing director at Tristan, overseeing debt and fund finance. Before that he was head of real estate finance at Cromwell Property Group.
