Empiric names new CFO

Empiric Student Property has appointed Palmer Capital’s Lynne Fennah as chief financial officer. Fennah will join the company on 26 June having spent five years in the same position at Palmer. She previously worked for Australian firm TOGA Group as its European chief financial officer. Fennah replaces Michael Enright, who resigned in March for personal reasons. Nigel Turner has held the position of interim head of finance at Empiric in the interim and will do so until further notice. Baroness Dean, chairman of Empiric, said: “[Fennah] has significant experience in real estate and specific knowledge of the hospitality sector, a combination which we believe will be invaluable as Empiric continues to develop.
