Tuesday
Schroder REIT will deliver its interim results after signalling a recovery in the UK market earlier this year. In July, the firm said leasing momentum was picking up and net asset value growing.
LondonMetric will also publish its half-year report, having completed more than 160 deals over the period. Most recently, the firm offloaded 24 non-core properties for £57.9m, generating a 6% profit over prevailing book values.
Sosandar will update shareholders on its performance over the past six months as it scales back its bricks-and-mortar presence. The performance of its first three shops has so far been “tracking in line with expectations”.
Safestore is expected to report on its quarterly trading as it continues to expand its portfolio. As at the end of July, the firm’s development pipeline comprised 28 stores totalling 1.4m sq ft.
Southwark Council is set to make a decision on Fabrix’s proposals for a resi-led scheme in Elephant and Castle. Plans to deliver 283 student beds and 23 affordable homes across two buildings of six and seven storeys at 182-202 Walworth Road, SE17, have been recommended for approval.
Wednesday
Pets at Home will publish its interim results following a resilient start to its trading year, with its investment in logistics and stores paying off. The company is also set to invest in new pet care centre openings as well as extensions and retrofits of existing facilities.
Kingfisher, the parent company of retailers B&Q and Screwfix, will update shareholders on its trading performance since the beginning of August. Most recently, the company has embarked on adopting energy efficiency measures across its property portfolio, including air source heat pumps and solar panels.
Thursday
Tower Hamlets Council’s planning committee will see the return of Canary Wharf Group’s proposals to revamp Montgomery Square and Water Street. Plans to renovate the public realm, construct a retail pavilion on Montgomery Square, and fully close Water Street to create a linear plaza and public space were first brought to the council in October but were rejected on the grounds that the road closures would hurt local businesses, cause traffic jams and inconvenience residents. As such, the amended proposals would see Water Street remain open.
