Dearlove spent more than six years working for Knight Dragon at the £8bn project, including leading the Design District.
He will head up EcoWorld London’s design team, as it brings forward detailed plans and new schemes for market sale and build-to-rent development.
This includes working on the Aberfeldy masterplan for 1,600 homes in Tower Hamlets, and a recently-approved scheme of 900 homes in Woking.
Heng Leong Cheong, chief executive at EcoWorld London, said: “Matthew has joined at a key time for us, and we have some really ambitious and exciting new projects in the pipeline.”
