Ealing gets sign-off for council HQ redevelopment
Ealing Council and Vistry Partnerships have received approval for the redevelopment of the council’s headquarters at Perceval House.
The application for a new council office and 26-storey residential tower was deferred from the February planning committee, pending a review of the proposed affordable housing mix.
Ealing and Vistry have since boosted the number of one and three-bedroom affordable homes, and reduced the number of two-bedroom affordable homes. Of the 477 flats, 156 will be discount market rent and 70 will be London affordable rent, equating to more than half affordable housing.

Plans comprise 442,665 sq ft of residential space, 175,710 sq ft of offices, and a library with ground floor commercial space at the town centre site.
Ealing selected Vistry as development partner in 2017 and signed a development agreement in 2019, with the planning application lodged last August. The pair aim to bring forward the new office space and affordable housing in the first phases of development, with market sale to follow. The first homes are expected to be ready as soon as 2023.
Perceval House will now be deferred to mayor for the final decision.
