Digme gym chain to call in administrators

Digme Fitness, a gym chain backed by Rishi Sunak’s wife Askhata Murphy, has filed a notice of intention to call in administrators. Murphy holds a 4.2% stake in the business. Digme has filed the notice after failing to relaunch itself as an online business during the pandemic. The chain’s sites are concentrated in city centres and have been hit by the drop off in office working. Shoosmiths is advising on a restructuring of the business. The Telegraph (£)
