It sits next to the Dalton Airfield industrial estate.
Ryan Unsworth, development director at Ilkley-based Opus North, said the park will benefit from supply and demand dynamics, citing estimates that Yorkshire will represent around 30% of all UK logistics take-up this year.
Unsworth added that the location has “already had interest from businesses looking for space to improve supply chains or expand into new premises”.
James Craven, managing director of Rougemont, pointed to the “shortage of availability” between Leeds and the North East.
Craven said: “The location is already home to successful engineering, manufacturing and distribution companies, and with the improved transport links it has the potential to provide a significant additional employment boost and facilities to the area.”
Lindsay Ross, spokesperson for the landlord of Dalton New Bridge, which owns a “substantial portion” of the land for the park, said: “With the recent addition of [a] new bridge, the proposal stands to be a positive and dynamic location for business; good for logistics and for growth.”
Dalton 49 Thirsk is being marketed by joint agents Dove Haigh Phillips and Colliers International.
