Derwent names new head of leasing
Derwent London has promoted a member of its letting team to become its new head of leasing.
Philippa Davies took the new role last week. After qualifying as a chartered surveyor while working at Cushman & Wakefield, Davies worked at Derwent on secondment from the agency in 2012 and joined the company a year later.
She has overseen letting campaigns at Derwent’s White Collar Factory, EC1, and 80 Charlotte Street, W1, and is now leading the marketing campaign at the Featherstone Building, EC1, which will complete in the first half of next year.

The head of leasing role was most recently held by Emily Prideaux, who took a board seat at the company earlier this year.
Derwent has also promoted Jay Joshi, its group treasurer, to the executive committee. Since taking the treasurer post in 2014, Joshi has worked on private placements, a convertible bond issue and the launch of the company’s green finance framework.
Derwent chief executive Paul Williams said of the promotions: “Both Jay and Philippa have played important roles in helping Derwent London progress in recent years and they demonstrate the considerable strength and depth of management within the group.”
