Deloitte has looked at Barings Real Estate’s Landmark development, according to market sources.
A break option in Deloitte’s lease prompted the firm to consider a relocation, as well as an option to stick with its current premises.
The firm, which last year appointed Colliers to seek around 70,000 sq ft, is thought to be in the early stages of the process.
The Embankment scheme compromises the 166,000 sq ft 100 Embankment and its similarly sized sister scheme, 101 Embankment.
The scheme was also one of five offices shortlisted for BT’s new hub in the city, which targeted 200,000 sq ft.
However, BT ultimately chose the English Cities Fund’s New Bailey development as its new Manchester home.
Deloitte, Colliers and Ask Real Estate declined to comment. Barings, Colliers, and Hansa Invest were approached for comment.
