Curzon zooms in on Clearbell’s refurbished Kodak building

Film distribution company Curzon has signed a lease to take space in Clearbell Capital’s Kodak building at 65 Kingsway, WC2. Curzon, responsible for the release of films such as Parasite and Cold War, will take just under 7,000 sq ft on the seventh floor of the Kodak, paying £82.50 per sq ft, equating to £572,632 per year. Alice Murray, head of asset management and sustainability at Clearbell Capital, said: “We are delighted to welcome Curzon to its new space. The company’s decision to relocate reflects the building’s appeal as a high-quality workspace in central London. We look forward to seeing Curzon’s continued growth and it making the most of the unique environment created here.”  Built in 1911 as the headquarters of photography brand Kodak, the Grade II listed building has recently undergone extensive redevelopment and now offers 70,000 sq ft of grade-A office accommodation across its eight storeys. The building has been refurbished to offer end-of-trip facilities, a roof terrace and strong sustainability credentials, achieving EPC A and BREEAM Excellent ratings and Well Gold certification.
