Crewe town centre regen moves forward with development agreement

Peverill Securities has signed a development agreement with Cheshire East Council to revamp Crewe’s Royal Arcade, paving the way for a planning application to be submitted for the site. The developer will work with the council to redevelop the site into mixed-use development compromising leisure, retail and restaurant space, as well as a cinema, a new bus station and a 400-space car park. The agreement will enable a planning application for the site to be submitted, which is expected to be lodged by summer 2022.
