The wider New Garden Square masterplan also includes 500,000 sq ft of offices on a 10.7-acre, mixed-use site being developed by the Calthorpe Estates and U+I.
Alex Neale, managing director at Court Collaboration, said: “New Garden Square will be a fantastic addition to the city and will bring this currently outdated site firmly into the 21st century.
“The properties will be built using a wide range of modern and sustainable building methods, to offer a desirable rental investment opportunity in the city.”
Court Collaboration has a portfolio of £1bn across some 15 sites, including Birmingham’s first skyscraper at One Eastside, next to the HS2 Curzon Street Station and Stone Yard in Digbeth.
