Countryside completes land purchase for Coventry resi scheme
Countryside Partnerships has completed on the purchase of land to deliver the first phase of a 2,400-home development in Coventry.
Vistry Group-owned Countryside bought the 31-acre site from two private families, advised by Warwickshire-based land, development and property agency Newton LDP.
The parcel of land on Pickford Green Lane has been allocated for development in the Coventry Local Plan and will provide up to 250 homes, forming the first part of a wider 353-acre site at Eastern Green.

Hallam Land Management, the strategic land and planning promotion arm of Henry Boot, secured outline planning permission for the wider Eastern Green development in 2021.
The wider scheme – to be known as Pickford Gate – will provide 2,400 new homes, including 25% affordable homes, alongside 37 acres of employment land, a new primary school, district and local community centres, and open spaces and play facilities.
