Council green light for Eastbourne retail centre extension

Edinburgh House has won consent for a 44,000 sq ft extension to the 125,000 sq ft Langley Shopping Centre in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

The extension will comprise a 22,000 sq ft shopping unit and 22,000 sq ft leisure unit.

Tony Quayle, managing director said: “Langley is currently underserved in terms of larger space for leisure and retail facilities. The extension has been designed to provide modern accommodation that will fit with the requirements of the retailers we wish to attract.”
