The number of corporate insolvencies is continuing to rise.
The Insolvency Service said yesterday that there had been 1,827 company insolvencies in England and Wales last month alone, 67% higher than a year ago.
The figure rose by 7.5% last month compared with June and is 27% higher than three years ago, before the pandemic struck.
