Cooley signs for space at 22 Bishopsgate

AXA Investment Managers Real Assets has secured law firm Cooley as a new tenant at 22 Bishopsgate. Cooley has agreed to a 75,000 sq ft pre-let, on a 17-year lease. It emerged that it was in discussions to take space at the tower in December. The California-based law firm is expected to move its circa 200-strong London team to 22 Bishopsgate in 2020, where it has taken the 22nd, 23rd and 24th floors of the 62-storey building. The law firm is the fifth occupier to have committed to 22 Bishopsgate, with 25% so far pre-let to Hiscox, Beazley, AXA Investment Managers, and Reinsurance Group of America. The tower will include more than 100,000 sq ft of amenities and common facilities including: a 20,000 sq ft food hub; an “innovation hub”; a gym with London’s first ‘sky-wall’ climbing window; a wellbeing retreat; a business club; and cycle storage and repair facilities. It will also host the city’s highest free public viewing gallery.
