Consortium plans £3.1m redevelopment of a Truro hospital

Devington Partnerships and Pinecraven (South West) have bought St Clements Vean Hospital in Tregolls Road, Truro in Cornwall, from the South Western Regional Health Authority for an undisclosed sum.

The consortium plans a £3.1m residential and commercial development, designed by Plymouth architects Form Design, on what is one of the region’s largest complexes of listed buildings.

The buildings provide more than 6,503 sq m (70,000 sq ft) and the site covers 1.7ha (4.22a). This is Devington’s second joint venture with Pinecraven. Vickery Holman of Truro were agents for the sale.
