Commonplace to double workforce after securing funding

Community online engagement platform Commonplace is set to double its staff numbers over the next year, after raising £3m in its first fundraising round. Commonplace provides a platform whereby local authorities and developers can engage with the public about projects. Its Series A funding round was led by venture capital company Beringea. Developers and organisations including TfL, HS2, Delancey and Grosvenor have signed up for the app, as well as more than 70 local authorities.
