Comer Homes buys Luton site in BTR drive

Comer Homes has bought a consented site in Luton town centre as part of a build-to-rent drive in outer London and the Home Counties. The developer bought the consented one-acre site on Latimer Road from administrators advised by Lambert Smith Hampton. The site has planning consent for 238 flats secured by the previous owner Via Developments. Comer will build this as BTR, starting with 118 flats in phase one. It follows similar schemes in Bracknell, Woolwich and Kenley.
