Nelson joined Colliers in 2009 from GVA as president of its occupier services business in the Americas, which he has organically grown.
“With his experience and success in growing our Americas business, Scott was the obvious choice for the new global leadership role. I am confident he will take this important business for Colliers to the next level, while driving exceptional results for clients across our global platform,” said Colliers global chief financial officer John Friedrichsen.
“With strong, established occupier services teams across the business, we have a great opportunity to bring more consistency, increase collaboration, leverage best practices and optimise our global platform to accelerate success for our clients and people.”
“This move is a natural step forward in realising the potential of Colliers’ global capabilities, placing accountability in the hands of a proven performer who has the passion to lead a talented group of enterprising professionals,” Jay Hennick, global chairman and chief executive of Colliers, added.
