With more than 40 years of experience in retail and leisure investment across the UK and Europe, he has advised on numerous high-profile acquisitions, disposals and development fundings for institutional investors, REITs, developers, government bodies and property companies.
John Munday, chief executive officer of Colliers UK, said: “Mark’s leadership experience will be invaluable for bringing our team and the wider business together to create opportunities and make strategic connections for our clients – in his areas of expertise and beyond.”
Girling said: “The depth of cross-sector occupational and lease advisory expertise is seriously impressive, and in an uncertain world, the stability and power of leveraging a global platform with such local strengths is attractive and reassuring to clients.
