Colliers hires head of operational capital markets for resi alternatives drive

Colliers International has hired Paddy Allen as head of operational capital markets to boost its focus on alternatives, student housing and hotels. He will be a director in the national capital markets team, under John Knowles. Allen (pictured) joins from Cushman & Wakefield where he was a partner in the capital markets group for three years. He previously focused on residential investment and advisory, with build-to-rent, student accommodation and co-living. He has 15 years of experience, with previous roles as head of new market entry and transactions at Global Student Accommodation and having previously co-founded two property consultancies.
